RITIKA'S CAMPAIGN TO PROVIDE JOBS TO COVID-19 AFFECTED NEEDY
I am running a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to provide career guidance, counselling, and jobs to COVID-19 affected needy people. Due to COVID-19 lock-down, businesses have been affected massively, and because of this, lot of youth from economically poor background have either lost their jobs or their salaries have been cut down. Aashansh Charitable Trust has supported over 5000 youth in the past get job ready and are looking at helping 1500 youth this year through their personal mentorship program and career guidance and counselling program which prepares a candidate to get job, work in a professional environment, continue with studies, and change their own lives. Please support this campaign by entering the amount you wish to contribute using a Credit/Debit card, Net-banking, etc. You will also get a report on how funds were used. Let us help one youth get a job and change his life.
The most severely impacted sectors at the moment are aviation, travel, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, automotive sectors etc. More than 70% of youth from poor financial backgrounds work in industries that have been severely impacted the most. A lot of companies have already announced salary cuts for its employees while lot of small scale companies are at the verge of shutting down. In the next 6 months to 12 months, people might loose jobs as tree sheds its leaves in late autumn. Many of youth coming from poor financial background usually have one or two earning members in the family and hence this is a traumatic situation for millions of families living in poor financial backgrounds.
Team Aashansh Charitable Trust has supported over 5000 youths from poor financial backgrounds who cannot afford a professional career guidance and counselling. Aashansh offers some of the crucial and job ready services to youth from financially weaker section of the society like professional resume building, education guidance, identifying various career options, cover letter writing, professional etiquette, personal mentoring, corporate exposure, training to crack interviews, table manners, financial literacy, online profiling, email writing skills, leadership skills, decision making skills, and other 21st century life skills.
Aashansh is a non-profit organisation with a mission to provide children & youth from financially poor backgrounds with the confidence & knowledge to unlock the door to social mobility, through mentorship & an experiential career guidance programme.
As little as Rs. 250/- from you will pair 1 youth from financially poor background with a professional counsellor & a mentor who will believe in them, unearth hidden talents, grow existing ones, & establish confidence that they can change their life.
The funds collected will be used towards conducting personal one to one career guidance & mentorship sessions with youth from financially poor background. You are invited to volunteer to mentor one youth to give confidence to change their life.
You will receive a donation receipt in 7 working days after the campaign is closed. Foreign contribution is not allowed. You will receive detailed report of how money was spent in 6 months after the campaign is closed.
