AASHANSH CAMPAIGN TO EMPOWER MICRO ENTREPRENEURS FROM RURAL AND TRIBAL AREAS

I am running a crowdfunding campaign to financially empower micro-entrepreneurs, self-help groups, and farmer-produce organisations from rural, tribal, and urban slums in India. Limited access to capital, financial literacy, business acumen, lack of awareness of government schemes, and more hinder the ability of micro-entrepreneurs to sustain or grow. Aashansh aims to engage with over a million micro-entrepreneurs from rural, tribal, and urban community at grass-root level and provide mentors, e-commerce to sell products, access to controlled finance, and stake-holder network. Please support this campaign by entering the amount you wish to contribute using a Credit/Debit card, net banking, etc. You will also get a report on how funds were used by RPH Venture Foundation. Contributing to the campaign has 80G tax benefits. Foreign contribution is not allowed. Let us financially empower micro-entrepreneurs.

The Social problem :

Micro-entrepreneurs, women-led self-help groups (SHGs), and farmer-produce organisations are vital drivers of economic growth in India, particularly in rural, tribal, and semi-urban areas. However, they face significant challenges at every stage of their journey; starting, sustaining, and growing their micro businesses. Limited access to capital, financial literacy, business acumen, lack of awareness of government schemes, and more hinders their ability to even begin. Sustaining operations is equally challenging due to cash flow issues, limited market access, and operational inefficiencies, exacerbated by inadequate infrastructure and middlemen exploitation. Scaling is hampered by a lack of funds, skilled labor, and expertise in marketing, branding, and advanced business practices. Social barriers, especially for women-led SHGs, and the absence of mentorship or support networks further complicate their efforts.

The Social solution:

We at Aashansh strongly believe that addressing these challenges through targeted interventions can unlock their immense potential for local and national development. Through its grass-root level intervention, we aim to engage with over a million micro-entrepreneurs, women-led self-help groups, and farmer-produce organisations from rural, tribal, and urban communities. The engagement aims to provide experienced business owners as mentors, e-commerce to sell products, access to controlled finance, and a stakeholder network for growth. This intervention will not only upgrade the economic activity of MSMEs, but also create jobs for millions of uneducated and unskilled youth. This will enable development in the remotest parts of the country, migration of youth in search of jobs will slow down, children will get better educational opportunities, remote areas will have better medical facilities, people will move out of poverty zone, and more.
