All it takes is 15 to 30 minutes of your time daily for the next 14 days to save carbon through ERT process.
PROBLEM BETTER SEASON FOUNDATION IS ADDRESSING
We generate 16 billion KGs of hazardous and non hazardous waste and 2533 trillion KGs of municipal solid waste annually. It is estimated by 70% year on year.
Some of this solid waste is disposed by incinerators (burning), some by bio degradation, and a lot is dumped. Incineration generates unwanted CO2 and other pollutants.
Dumping in landfills, rivers and the oceans disrupts the environment and affects health of all living organisms. Composting, Bio-methanation is limited to conversion of only bio material and puts huge pressure on land use. Unattended garbage is a health risk and a civic burden and civic managers across the world are haunted by the challenge of disposing the 8.35 trillion MT of legacy waste we have accumulated.
Disposal of waste through incineration, dumping, composting, bio-methanization, recycling or any other method currently in vogue have direct costs like segregation, transportation, storage, etc.
