There is a lot of stigma and discrimination towards children with autism. This result in social exclusion and make it harder for children with autism to receive the support.

Families in India have limited access to healthcare services and diagnostic facilities, making it difficult to get an accurate diagnosis of autism or access to appropriate treatment.

Children with autism often face difficulties in mainstream schools due to the lack of support and understanding from teachers and peers. Families with children with autism face financial difficulties due to the cost of therapy and other interventions.
