The problem Pratibimb Foundation is addressing
Most of government schools in Mirzapur have poor infrastructure. There is a high drop out rate in the primary section itself due to poor infrastructure. Due to low literacy rate and education rate in financially challenging communities of Mirzapur, parents of the children are not motivated enough to send their children to go to school.

Due to poor infrastructure and poor teaching methodologies, students are unable to learn and grow. Resulting to which, a students in 10th grade finds it difficult to answer a 5th grade question.

As per RTE norms, most of government schools in Mirzapur, dont have enough teachers. Many a times, one teacher is teaching multiple grade students in one classroom. Students are also forced to rote learn the curriculum.

Students from financially challenging communities in Mirzapur do not have good education support system even if the parents and children are motivated towards education.
