Welcome to 14 days online crowdfunding challenge to educate children from Habigaon village of Sonapur district in Assam..

You will be volunteering your skills and time to raise funds to provide online and offline education to 50 children from Habigaon village of Sonapur district in Assam.

All it takes is 15 to 20 minutes of your time daily for the next 14 days to educate children from rural.

The problem D. N. Acharya Foundation is addressing
The village has about 100 households in small clusters and is a mix of Bodo and Rabha Community along with a few Adivasi and Assamese families. The village has approximately 50 children of varied age groups who attend the nearby Anganwadi centres and Govt. School.

The school have been non-functional since the onset of the pandemic, also do not have an access to online classes. The locals fear the bleak future of the children of the village as they have been cut off from the education and have no support. For schools sending content to the students is not so much of a worry but in many cases students don't have smartphones to access the content.

The local school also do not have adequate infrastructure or regular classes. and therefore children even in the non pandemic times, did not get access to quality education. There are many drop outs who do not have the motivation to go back to school. The parents of these children are not educated enough to guide them at home.

4) Spend only 15 minutes to 20 minutes on average of your volunteering time for 14 days to raise INR 35000/- or more.
