You will be volunteering your skills and time to raise awareness and funds to provide educational and stationary supplies to children from financially challenging background in Gandhinagar

The problem Udgam Charitable Trust is addressing
Nearly 35 million children aged between 6 to 14 years do not attend school.
One of the primary reasons for nor being able to attend school is poverty. Nearly 53% of the girls age between 5 to 9 years are illiterate in India as due to poverty, they are forced/expected to take care of household.
For every child in India, going to school also means buying lot of educational materials including books, uniform, stationary, shoes, and more.
95% of children coming from poor families are not able to afford the basic educational material and hence they prefer not to go to school as without the materials, children will not be able to learn.
