Indiaâs crisis has shown how oxygen is a vital medicine not everyone can access. Oxygen isnât always easily available for patients in hospitals across India. Millions of people in India are forced to helplessly watch their family members slowly suffocate due to lack of Oxygen concentrators in hospitals.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, medical oxygen shortages have struck hospitals. We hear and read news that everyday more than 1000 people are dying due to lack of beds in the hospitals and lack of oxygen concentrators.
We are living in a condition where doctors across the hospitals are asking patients to arrange for their own concentrators and getting a bed in the hospital is a matter of fate for many patients in India.
As a campaign volunteer for Hope For The Children Foundation:
