Micro Entrepreneurship is one of the highly unorganized sectors in India with no/limited financial security for the entrepreneurs.
Women from Pandharpur are are able to only earn during their seasonal months while for the most of the time during the year, they barely have any source of income.
These people are daily wage earners face issues like regular cashflow, low revenues, struggle to meet day to day expenses of the seasonal business and personal as well, lack of credits, lack of collaterals for loans, high cost of procurement, lack of access to modern technology, lack of skills like marketing etc.
During and post covid, economic revival of micro-entrepreneurs has become a nightmare. The sector employs over 110 million people and more than 80% lost their jobs during and post covid.
