PROBLEM POSITIVE CITIZEN FOUNDATION IS ADDRESSING
Due to poverty, millions of people from rural, slums, streets, and other financially challenging communities cannot afford nutritious food. Since mostly people are daily wage earners, to make sure they feed the whole family, people usually survive on extremely low cost food that does not contain enough nutrition required for the body.
Due to lack of nutrition, cancer patients from low-income background often face issues like weight loss, Digestive Issues, Dehydration, Immune System Suppression, and more.
Similarly, due to lack of nutrition, senior citizens from low-income background faces issues like Malnutrition, Weak Immune System, Muscle Weakness and Frailty, Depression and Mood Disorders, Delayed Wound Healing, and more.
Rising good prices, limited access to market, lower wages, Lack of Nutrition Education, Food Habits and Cultural Preferences Cultural Preferences are some of the other reasons for lack of nutrition.
