Dear volunteers of Manavodaya

You will be volunteering your skills and time to raise awareness and crowdfund to help youth from rural areas set up agri-based micro businesses through training and support to local youths as facilitators of change, a model that can be widely replicated in the country by all concerned citizens and corporate entities.

All it takes is 15 to 30 minutes of your time daily for the next 14 days to empower the weakest segments of village India socially and economically.

The problem Manavodaya is addressing
Almost 70% of people from rural areas struggle to make their living.

Some of the reasons are limited employment opportunities, lack of education and skills, infrastructure and connectivity.

High dependency on agriculture, limited access to financial services, lack of diversification or economic activities are some other reasons.

Manavodaya’s training and guidance in several African and South Asian countries indicates that the issues and challenges faced by them is similar to that in India. We need to consolidate our experience to develop modules of training and guidance in different contexts.

As a campaign volunteer for Manavodaya
