Women unemployment in India is a major concern and is one of the most widely discussed issues, yet it has hardly seen any resolution. Families still in India, despite females being educated are not allowed to work in India.

Absence of relevant skills is one of the major reasons for women unemployment in India. Today, most women lack the appropriate skills that a job specification requires them to have. The idea of a working female is still not very widely accepted in India.

Millions of women in India are desperate to get skilled and are in search of jobs only to support the income of the family.
