The Social problem :

Millions of India's orphaned and needy children face abandonment, neglect, and exploitation, despite government programs and laws. Many lack parental care, nutrition, education, and a secure environment, particularly in rural, tribal, and urban slum areas plagued by poverty, broken families, and substance abuse. Children in these areas are disproportionately affected by socio-economic disruption, leaving them vulnerable to abuse and exploitation. This issue extends beyond mere survival, representing a crisis of lost childhoods, unfulfilled potential, and a fractured future for thousands of vulnerable children. The consequences are far-reaching, with many children facing a lifetime of hardship and limited opportunities. Urgent action is needed to address this pressing social issue and provide these children with the care, support, and resources they need to thrive.

The Social solution:

SAMPARC's holistic solution addresses the pressing issue of abandoned, neglected, and exploited children in India. With six residential childcare centers across three states, SAMPARC provides a nurturing environment for over 475 vulnerable children. The organization offers education, healthcare, emotional support, vocational training, and legal protection, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and marginalization. Since 1990, SAMPARC has successfully rehabilitated over 3,000 children, enabling them to become self-reliant and contributing members of society. By providing structured care and development, SAMPARC transforms lives, helping children reclaim their childhood, regain self-worth, and build a future filled with hope and dignity. This integrated approach tackles the problem at both individual and systemic levels, ensuring the most vulnerable children in India receive the support they need to thrive.
