Children and adults with disabilities face daily challenges including physical, cognitive, emotional, and social barriers that hinder independence, education, communication, and inclusion, requiring personalised support for meaningful participation and growth. People with disabilities, including cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, multiple and intellectual disabilities, face significant barriers in daily life from a very young age to adulthood. Many struggle with mobility, communication, self-care, social interaction, and learning, often requiring individual attention or small group support. They face stigma, isolation, and limited opportunities for independence, personal growth, and employment. Education and participation in everyday activities are challenging without specialised support. These struggles result in low self-esteem, dependency on caregivers, and reduced prospects for a dignified and fulfilling life, making comprehensive and ongoing intervention critical for their well-being
Team Arvind Foundation provides holistic care for children and adults with diverse disabilities through early intervention, special education, daily living skills, games, competitive sports, art and movement therapies, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and sensory integration. Skilled educators and therapists deliver these services in individual or small-group settings, ensuring personalised attention. Vocational and pre-vocational training empower adolescents and adults with practical skills for employment and independence. Through integrated support, students gain responsibility, self-care abilities, teamwork experience, and a chance to earn a stipend. The approach fosters autonomy, confidence, and participation in society, helping transform lives and enable lasting impact
