DAJIKHARE CAMPAIGN TO EMPOWER WOMEN WITH WELLNESS KITS, HEALTH SCREENING AND EDUCTION FOR HEALTH IMPROVEMENT
I am volunteering with Daji Khare Foundation to run an online fundraising campaign that empowers women from low income communities. Anaemia affects 57% of Indian women aged 15-49, disproportionately impacting rural and financially challenged communities, perpetuating poverty and poor health, requiring urgent sustainable solutions. The Swasthya Saheli campaign empowers 2000 women from low-income communities with wellness kits, health screenings, and education, promoting dignity and sustainable health improvements over 3-6 months. Please support this campaign by entering the amount you wish to contribute using a Credit/Debit card, Net-banking, etc. Contributing to the campaign has 80G tax benefits. You will also get a report on how funds were used by Daji Khare Foundation. Foreign contribution is not allowed. Let us empower women.
Anaemia severely affects women in India, with 57% of those aged 15-49 being anaemic, according to NFHS-5 (2021). The situation is direr in financially challenged communities, including rural areas, tribal regions, and urban slums, where SC/ST populations are disproportionately impacted. Limited access to affordable sanitary products, basic nutrition, and preventive care exacerbates the issue, leading to long-term health complications, school dropouts, and loss of dignity. For these vulnerable groups, even ayurvedic medicines and nutritional supplements are often unaffordable or unavailable, further deepening the health disparity. This crisis perpetuates a cycle of poverty and poor health, critically affecting the well-being and future prospects of millions of women from disadvantaged backgrounds in India, requiring urgent attention and sustainable solutions.
The Team DAJI KHARE FOUNDATION's Swasthya Saheli campaign is a targeted solution to address anaemia and menstrual health issues among 2000 women from financially low-income communities over 3-6 months. Through innovative medical camps, each woman will receive a curated wellness kit containing menstrual hygiene products, skin care items, and awareness tools. The initiative aims to screen and treat women for anaemia, promote dignity and preventive care, and educate on iron-rich diets using local foods like moringa and jaggery. By integrating ayurveda-based wellness and modern care, this campaign will profoundly impact lives, empowering women with knowledge and resources to break the cycle of poverty and poor health, ultimately enhancing their well-being, dignity, and future prospects within their communities. This initiative fosters sustainable health improvements for vulnerable populations.
DAJI KHARE FOUNDATION empowers marginalized women through health education dignity initiatives, bridging healthcare gaps via Swasthya Saheli project, combining modern traditional wellness for sustainable change and community upliftment.
The NGO will utilize funds for menstrual hygiene kits, nutritional supplements, self-care products, awareness materials, venue setup, transport, health screening, and project coordination, benefiting underprivileged women.
